SEGAS Resources Director, Spanish Egyptian Gas (SEGAS) Company “Affiliated with
UNION FENOSA & GAS Natural Group”. Responsibilities:
1. Review and control the hiring/termination process for expatriate candidates
including, preparing assignment work contract, leave statement, on-boarding
procedures, medical and life insurance coverage in order to comply with SEGAS
HR policy and procedures.
2. Review the collected necessary employees documents, review the setup of
employees files, also maintain HRIS “SAP - HCM “to make sure that both data are
updated in order to provide accurate and statistical information.
3. Respond to employees enquiries regarding the Company Compensations and
Benefits any other related issues in order to maintain healthy interdepartmental
relations. And ensure compliance with the Company policies and procedures.
4. Review and validate time evaluation process of the Company expatriate & director
employees in order to control the attendance/ vacation/ leave requests and maintain
disciplinary actions.
5. Prepare, validate, execute and control the monthly payroll and all transactions
including analysis reports, grants, bonus and any other separate payments to ensure
timely payments to the expatriate employees.
6. Participate in the yearly salary survey.
Review quarterly the medical insurance & Life Insurance coverage for Directors &
Expatriates with the contracted companies. And prepare the annual contract.
8. Review and having a control of the issuance of expatriates work permits and
residence in order to comply with the Egyptian labor law.
9. Review the Company local/abroad travel requirements according to HR travel
policy to ensure compliance and timely service.
10. Manage the expatriate’s performance appraisal system to ensure consistency and
fair evaluation of the employees matching with the annual score card reference
rates.
11. Prepare scheduled and periodic Personnel reports in order to provide statistical
information to the management in a timely and accurate manner to provide a
detailed analysis for decision making.
12. Prepare the monthly KPIs report for Expatriates Personnel unit.
13. Creating ad hoc queries from SAP for HR monthly reports.
14. Developing the HR monthly reports.
15. Developing the HR policies & procedures.
16. Revise quarterly the HR expenditures versus planned budget to ensure control and
compliance with the set budget. And prepare the quarterly closing forecast for the
department.
17. Prepare the annual expatriates personnel budget estimation to be provided to the
Budget & Cost Control dept.

Professional Achievements
2014: Update HR policies & procedures to be matching with SAP HCM standards workflow.
2013: Participate in Collective Labor Agreement between the general trade union of petroleum
workers, the administrative committee of workers in SEGAS Services S.A.E and SEGAS
Services management.
Participate in Job Analysis project in ELMASRIA Company for medical equipment
(Manpower 400 employees). “A part time project as on job training for PHR preparation”.
2012: Prepare deeply analysis on the BI (Business Objects Info view) which is a tool connected
with SAP system introducing advanced reports using SAP ECC database.
Present a proposal to develop the attendance control for SEGAS staff using SAP functions.
2011:Startup phase to implement SAP international system while analyzing, collecting,
reporting and following up all the actual problems and any mismatching between SAP
standards and the required work rules application to deliver the final project accurately.
2010: Started the analytical phase to implement SAP international system to the Human
Resources functions in SEGAS Company.
2007: Start up a separate unit for Expatriate Personnel affairs in SEGAS Company.
