Centralized Procurement Manager
• Manage purchase orders and orders to contractors averaging half a billion Saudi Riyals annually.
• Oversee the purchase of synthetic oil, base oil, lube additives, aviation jet fuel, marine bunker fuels, aviation equipment (refuelers /dispensers), lube plant spare parts, marine vessels spares part, lube drums pallets and lube cans; supervise lube filling and billing production lines.
• Administer and follow through contract job orders for: the fabrication of new tanks, installation of fuels systems, construction of aviaton fuel depots, construction of finished product warehouses and marine vessel dry docks.
• Negotiate offers from suppliers, vendors and contractors to secure specific qualities, quantities, prices and terms of deliveries/payments that will meet the requester’s needs and is in the best interest of the company, its objectives and bottom line.
• Establish and maintain strong and long term relationships with an intricate network of suppliers/contractors and clearing agents within Saudi Arabia and internationally.
• Analyze and document supplier performance through a set of key performance indicators to maintain efficiency and measure the cost-benefit to the company.
• Actively confer with supply chain planners to forecast demand and create supply plans that ensure the availability of materials and products.
• Implement and support strategic business plans that are market-competitive and socially responsible, yet are able to adapt to changing market conditions.
