- Responsible for the overall success of Project Department (Industrial and Oil & Gas projects) including both Commercial and Operational Aspects for the goal of ensuring project executions..
- Liaising with the Global Projects team of Agility
- Conducting Projects studies including route survey and producing route studies, risk assessments, MOS, and Projects SOPs.
- Supervising the Preparations needed for the studies of handling the Exceptional Cargo (Heavy lifts and Over dimensions) from discharge from vessels till Delivery to sites, including the route surveys and route reclamations and the choice of the appropriate handling equipments and appropriate mean of transportation.
- Preparations of the RFP, RFQs, and projects bids.
- Building the “Project team” and be responsible for setting their responsibilities and setting their KPIs and plan of action.
- Implement operational corrective action for Projects shipments.
- Support implementation of SOPs in the country for all Project Logistics contracts.
- Preparation of the Project Department Annual budget and meeting Budgeted/ Targeted figures.
- Establishing the Projects Logistics Department
- Performing the Marketing and sales activities for the projects department
- Preparing the annual PR studies and reports
- Achieving Annual targets of the department
- Liaising with the Projects Global team for the work development in Egypt and neighboring countries
- Liaising with the Marketing office at Dubai for applying the Corporate Strategies and future plans.
- Approaching local clients and making corporate presentations
- formulating and preparing offers and cost for the local handling of the Shipments ( containers, General cargo, Over dimensions and Heavy lifts)
- Follow up the Financial and operation developments of the projects in-hand
- preparing regular reports for Country and regional Managers
- Liaising with Regional Projects Director for approaching projects within Egypt
* Acting as the On-site Project manager for the LNG Damietta project (Union Fenosa), responsible to ensure that the scope of work of Egytrans in this project is performed in the most efficient manner, the scope of work included the documents preparation, supervise discharge of the cargo (Containers/general /heavy lifts) from the vessels, the cargo transportation to the job site and the over dimension cargo, the custom clearance of the cargo, the delivery to the cargo to the site and the offloading job at the site as well.
* Acting as a project Manager for the project of dismantling and the transportation and the shipping of a full house hold factory from Egypt to UAE.
* Acting as a Project Manager for the Alstom Power Project. Including the receiving of the cargo at the port and supervising the Loading of the vessel for the purpose of Export to Spain.
* Acting as a Project Coordinator for the transport of Heavy lifts Turbine and Generators (310 tons) to Siemens-Nubaria P/S Project.
* Supervising the Preparation of the studies for Handling the Exceptional Cargo (Heavy lifts and over dims.) including the route surveys and route reclamations and the choice of the appropriate mean on transportation.
* Studying and Preparing offers and quotations for Projects handling on a DDU base, through the study of the Project Packing list and identifying the needed equipments and setting down execution method statements.
* Preparing offers and quotations for client handling cargo from vessel arrival till delivery to w/house or factory.
* Participating in the marketing of the company activities.
Reporting directly to the Logistics director and to the Chairman.
- performing all the duties of an import forwarding Supervisor i.e Quotations /shipping /booking /custom clearance /haulage / preparation of shipping docs./issuance of invoices / collections follow-up/...etc for containerized and general cargo .
- Responsible for the accounts of major multinational clients.
- Directing a team of 9 persons.
- Excellent coordination with Sub-Contractors .
- Excellent coordination with Governmental Agencies and shipping lines.
- handling the LCL/LCL traffic with agents all over the world average 25 TEU/week.
- handling the door to door operations for international clients .
- handling the custom clearance and haulage of major national projects, in the field of petrochemical/oil companies/cement factories/..etc
- responsible for handling / negotitions of contracts with clients.
- Performing all the duties of an asistant GM
- Arranging meeting / filling / reporting directly to the GM
