LMS (MOODLE - Learning Management System) administrator & developer:
I am responsible of installing, updating and developing all the modules on the Moodle system in addition to integrating it with the university’s SIS registration subsystem to facilitate the process of acquiring and uploading students marks, Instructors notes regarding their courses
Webmaster and developer:
I’m responsible of designing, building and developing the university’s website using content management system (Joomla), I also developed a small documents search engine to facilitate the search process regarding the university’s rules and laws in addition to Professors researches and reports.
Job Desciption:
• Manage all Moodle courses/accounts/tools.
• As a member of AOU E-Learning Team, The task of training staff and students on how to use the system, one of the tasks assigned to me.
• Executes constant upgrades and backups to Moodle contents.
• Provide support to stakeholders and internal teams in the area of multimedia storage, course cloning, coping, backing-up, retrieving and setup processes.
• Configure management and documentation of Reporting Environment and all custom reports.
• Working with end user support services.
Responsible for shelling telecommunications products, including cellular phones and parts, network managed services, cabling, corporate Internet access, web security, T1s, information services, and VoIP.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Sell telecommunications products and services to both individuals and companies.
• Sell VoIP for corporate technology and communications systems.
• Build market position by locating, developing, defining, negotiating, and closing business relationships.
• Keep abreast of current technology trends.
• Lab Supervisor and Teacher Assistant - taught applicable parts of all courses (C++, UNIX, internet programming, access programming, Windows & office).
• I was responsible of MOODLE (E-learning management System) modification and customization using PHP and MySQL.
• Provides technical support, training, and assistance to students, faculty, and staff in a computer lab environment; analyzes problems and implements solutions according to Department guidelines and procedures; performs network and server administrator duties, and assures system stability, accessibility, and proper configuration of assigned technical systems and components.
• Administration and maintenance principles of network servers, relational databases, and web- and windows-based software applications.
• The structure and operating capabilities of one or more network operating systems.
• Network hardware, software, and peripheral equipment troubleshooting techniques.
• Network topologies and protocols, and technical Internet knowledgebase services.
