As a security officer working for a International Oil and Gas Company my role is to make sure that the premises, assets and staff are safe and secure. I help prevent theft and damage and deal with emergencies. My duties include patrolling, securing and monitoring the workshop premises, sometimes with the aid of closed circuit television (CCTV), and supervising at the door.
My duties could also involve customer care and giving advice. I am based in front office and perform day to day admin jobs. I keep accurate records and write short reports, which may be used by the police or courts.
