 Review and evaluate contractors’ submittals, pre-qualifications, materials, method statements, drawings, calculations, layouts, and detailed engineering documents to ensure compliance with project specifications, municipal standards, and design intent.
 Review and provide technical support for all electrical systems, including MV/LV/ELV networks, internal and external lighting, small power, UPS, lightning protection, emergency lighting, generators, transformers, and power system studies. Oversee integration and coordination of systems such as Fire Alarm, PAVA, CO Detection, Telecom, SMATV, CCTV, Access Control, Lighting Control, BMS, and related containment infrastructure, in accordance with NFPA 70/72, NEC, BSI and local standards.
 Ensure that all inspection activities are backed by approved shop drawings, method statements (MS), Quality Control Procedures (QCP), and Inspection & Test Plans (ITP) per the project master index.
 Inspect on-site and off-site materials to verify quality and compliance with approved standards.
 Maintain adherence to company Quality Management System (QMS) requirements and ensure implementation of best practices on site.
 Coordinate effectively with multidisciplinary teams to resolve interface issues and ensure smooth integration between trades.
 Provide technical input and engineering expertise to resolve site-related design and execution issues.
 Review, evaluate, and provide recommendations on contractors’ claims and Requests for Information (RFIs) related to electrical works.
 Review test reports and other technical documentation for accuracy and compliance.
 Participate in weekly and monthly technical meetings with clients and contractors to monitor progress and resolve issues.
 Witness and verify testing and commissioning of MEP equipment’s.
 Supervise testing and commissioning of MEP systems.
 Prepare surveillance reports, non-conformance reports (NCRs), and site observation reports (SORs) in coordination with the Senior Electrical Engineer and Resident Engineer.
 Conduct regular site inspections with client representatives to verify installation works and ensure compliance with approved drawings and specifications.
 Record and maintain all field changes during construction to support accurate as-built documentation and future reference.
 Review and validate as-built drawings and MEP handover documentation submitted by contractors prior to project closeout.
