Design WAN networks from customer premises to ISP premises over wired and wireless transmission medias .
Meet customers to learn about their technical requirements and their special topologies.
Check physical infrastructure and facilities surrounding customer premises by direct cooperation with vendors and indoor planing and technicians teams.
Work in a daily basis with indoor teams such as support, implementation, sales, marketing teams in order to provide customers with the most optimum solutions to satisfy their technical needs.
Provide customers with detailed technical solutions, product specs, technical advices.
Access ISP network nodes such as routers(PEs), switches, DSALAMs or customers WAN H/W such modems, antennas, routers or switches in order to check the availability to modify or upgrade the provided solutions to customers according to their requests.
- IP Backbone operation resident engineer supports the hardware daily actions on network nodes (routers, switches, etc.).
-Supports other Ericsson teams' hardware actions.
- Audits all daily actions and trouble tickets after validating Etisalat operation's working process as a data center owner team.
- Supporting roles include (troubleshooting fiber and ether connections, nodes' parts replacement, doing acceptance on the newly added nodes of different vendors as (Cisco, Juniper, Huawei, etc.), attending installations of new nodes and getting connected via console to network nodes in order to modify some configurations according to back offices' instructions.
- Build and update data center databases.
