Handling materials and hardware’s on site-arrival including reception, sorting, organizing. Dealing with materials considering their components, necessity for production operation, so to be properly handled, coded and stored. Materials handling go through the following stages:
1- Purchase order preparation in which the requested materials and goods qualifications, amounts, period, and consumption ratios during importation are determined.
2- Offers evaluation in terms of qualifications, delivery period, and price is done after sending the purchase order and receiving replies.
3- by confirming an offer and receiving the materials from the importer, they go under preliminary examination in terms of sort number (Part Num), amounts, status (intact/broken…etc).
4- Materials analyzing to confirm requested qualifications.
5- Coding and shelving the goods and materials.
6- Job also includes analyzing materials mobility, monitoring storing, best times for purchase, and purchasable economical amounts. It also include following up the all the materials related.
