Initiate, build and maintain relationships with existing clients by providing the company’s services and raise and analyze pain points for the new clients/leads. Manage the operations for seven diagnostics centers and three outpatient family practice clinics supported by the healthcare group. Developed the Budgets for existing facilities & prepared feasibility models and business plans for new projects & group expansions. Ensured timely reporting of all projects to management and provide strong governance and oversight of all projects. Develop & manage the relationship with vendors & suppliers. Slashed consumables & goods (COGS) costs 15% by negotiating pricing and fees; while ensuring the continuation and enhancements of services. Achieved a reduction of the overall operational cost within the facilities by 7% thus contributing to the bottom-line of the P&L. Create & maintain a detailed Assets Register. Oversee the hiring and credentialing of all clinical and non-clinical staff, as well as the training and supervision of non-clinical personnel. Liaises with the Quality Assurance team in satisfaction of quality goals. Identified inefficiencies and made recommendations for process improvements in the centers. Monitored facility compliance to ISO 15189, CAP and Joint Commission (JCI) standards, and arrange continuing education opportunities for clinic employees. Built and maintained effective accounts receivable and cash flow monitoring system for the centers. Provided a detailed description of project scope and the requirements with clinical team and clients. Identified risks related to the project timelines and the costs attached to the project. Integrated new acquisitions & Greenfield facilities into the group; Performed due diligence (operational & financial) and assessment of transaction risks, based on the regulatory environment and known business operations of the targeted asset. Developed strategic plans for new acquisitions as well as the implementation of company policies into new assets. Implemented and conceptualized the overall marketing plan, marketing collateral and web site for the newly acquired centers Key Accomplishments: Efficiently integrated the new Hospital Lab in Al Ain under a Laboratory management contract. Lead the implementation of the Laboratory Information (LIS) system in the Laboratory group. Responsible for the relocation of a functional Hospital Laboratory, Al Ain (as a part of Hospital move) and also completed all regulatory & quality audits from ISO 15189, HAAD & JCI teams. Lead 3 new Diagnostic Center projects which included total turnkey solutions. Part of the team who successfully commissioned the new Amina Hospital in Ajman.
Managed the budgeting process of six diagnostic centers and two medical clinics facilities. Responsible for business plan creation for new projects. Assisted in the development of strategic plans.
Increased the effectiveness and efficiency of Support Services through improvements to each function (Quality, HR, IT, Finance) as well as coordination and communication between functions. Key Accomplishments: Project Lead for people, resources, timelines, and budgets for the overall project & launch of Occupational Health (OHI) & Amber Clinic, area of 18, 000 Sq. ft. & 22, 000 Sq. ft. respectively in Dubai, UAE. UAE’s first Occupational Healthcare Clinic (OHI) project worth AED. 28m launched in April 2011. Successfully Lead the OHI Project by coordinating with consultants, contractors, authorities & licensing bodies on a fast track to reach a tough “clinic launch” deadline of 3 months. Handled the completion of Amber Clinic, an AED. 25m project in Dubai which had 18 Doctors of most specialties and super specialties with state-of-art facility launched in September 2011. Complete turnkey project management for 4 new diagnostic centers and several expansion projects for the Diagnostic Group. Managed the relocation of 2 Medical laboratories of the group to a newer & spacious location which included shifting of licenses, new equipment & overall designing of the facilities.
