Reporting to the GM, assuming day-to-day responsibility in driving the product business cycle by handling the areas of Sales, Marketing and Brand Management for Chocolate/Confectionery and FMCG products across the UAE market. Responsible for launching new brands in the market.
Chocolate and Confectionery
Main point of contact with GODIVA, NEUHAUS and other international suppliers on all financial, marketing and supply chain management as well as brand’s volume and spending objectives
Expanded brands portfolio offering to existing key accounts (Emirates Airlines, Jumeirah Group, Dubai Airports, GEMS Education etc.) while maximizing new sales opportunities and increasing revenue in accordance with set KPIs
Developed price pack architecture for B2B and B2C as well as forecasting and budgeting
Managed communication and activation ideas to drive sales and awareness of seasonal collections
Developed and executed media plans, PR communications, marketing collaterals and special promo events
Identified new potential suppliers and developed business cases related to new brands market penetration
Dealt with contractual agreements, sales training and product initiation
FMCG
Overall responsibility for achieving or exceeding FMCG sales and distribution objectives
Developed and maintained key distribution network including CARREFOUR, SPINNEYS, UNION COOP etc
Managed financial models including forecasting, margin analysis and pricing policies
Performed new products / distribution channels assessment, business cases and P&L analysis
Managed in-store marketing & promotional activities to increase store brand visibility
Conducted regular market visits to check the availability and positioning of products in the market
Liaised with Finance & Accounts Departments to ensure compliance with financial terms, collections and receivables
