- To ensure that HSE operation procedures and method statements (in onshore operations and Upstream operations) are in compliance with
Company HSE policy; In particular, Safe System of Work procedure, Risk Assessment, HSE Reporting, actions tracking, HSE audits and inspections.
- Maintains site records, i.e. incident/accident report, safety reports/memo circulars, accident statistics, Conducts safety audits, safety orientation and safety meetings for management and contractors.
- Monitoring and following up the contractors' activities and ensures that projects incorporates and implements current Corporate and Company
Standards, HSE Guidelines & Safety Regulations.
- Advise the Plant Manager and discipline engineers on HSE matters on a plant basis, and promote health and safety culture.
- Developing HSE Management Systems, regulations, procedures and control programs
-Ensure that Operations comply with all relevant safety and environmental management policies, procedures and controls across all operations in Plant.
- Conducts safety audits and inspections.
- Participate in safety reviews for Plant e.g. HAZID, HAZOP study, What-If analysis, Cause and Effects reviews.
- To review, evaluate and oversee implementation of the Safety Management System in particular related to Process Safety and related safety activities on Plant.
- Participate in design reviews of new facilities or upgrades; and consulting on process safety related issues, including risk assessments, investigating the root causes of incidents, and developing measures to avoid future losses.
- Conducts safety orientation, training sessions for management, supervisors and workers on health and safety practices and legislation.
- Coordinate emergency procedures.
