•Supervising and supporting a Local Area Network of more than 150 workstations and Point of Sales in Beirut International Airport Duty Free Market. A mixture of Windows 98, NT4 Workstation & XP Professional, members of two Redundant Microsoft Windows 2000 Server Domain Controllers running Active Directory, DNS, WINS, DHCP, RAS, “Navision Attain” Database and other Servers and Services.
•Re-configuring the whole Domain and Security issues with the implementation of Primary and Secondary WINS servers with full replication. Re-configuration of the DHCP server scope and defining proper exclusions, reservations and other DHCP related specifications.
•Monitoring and supporting the Company’s “Navision Attain” database hosted on external ASP Servers with full replication to and among Local Retail Back Office Servers and over 50 Retail POS workstations running “Landsteiner” GoPro Retail program.
•Developing Reports, Forms and Code Unit Objects using “Navision C/SIDE and C/AL” programming languages.
•Automating and enhancing major day-to-day routine tasks, thus enabling MIS juniors to focus more on Database Administration than performing manual and time-consuming tasks.
•Developing and implementing the company’s website and the day to day updates including creating new static and dynamic html pages, flash macromedia designs, Products updates and promotions
