Duties and Responsibilities:
• Review data received from Radio Engineers related to the preparation of yearly coverage plan.
• Participate in preparing radio materials bill of quantities based on annual requirements.
• Follow up the implementation of yearly coverage plan.
• Review and submit radio site design, site database and work orders (software change request, hardware modification, frequency tuning, .etc)
• Lead radio network optimization by identifying weakness areas in radio network, set and following the needed optimization actions.
• Supervise software loading, parameters settings, radio database modification of relevant radio sites elements for optimization purpose.
• Set guidelines, follow-up, and monitor site swap from vendor to another, frequency change, and collocation (UMTS, GSM, 1800, 900) for optimization purpose.
• Prepare studies about radio network integration with core and transmission networks elements.
• Coordinate with Core and Network Transport Units to implement radio network dimensioning.
• Prepare studies and analysis for new and existing BSS features, radio cell planning and their effects on network performance, implement and follow up the needed actions.
• Supervise introducing new technologies and new features as required by Marketing Department.
• Review and maintain the recommended radio documentations and radio parameter template.
• Recommend, evaluate and validate new specialized radio tools and coordinate with supplier for support.
• Prepare monthly radio KPIs report.
• Supervise, and follow up specific Radio projects.
• Follow up requests with suppliers and subcontractors.
• Request purchasing needed tools and equipments.
• Check corrective and preventive actions applied to solve complaints to ensure their effectiveness and ensure the availability of records related to these actions.

Duties and Responsibilities: • Review and check observations, recommendations and problem alerts prepared by Radio Network Quality Assurance team related to network performance in radio domain before being channeled to the concerned entities.
• Ensure timely preparation of regular reports by Radio Network Quality Assurance team and review these reports output accuracy.
• Define the objective of setting new performance indicator for radio network and review performance indicators and thresholds prepared by Radio Network Quality Assurance Engineers.
• Ensure the integration of network performance indicators in monitoring and reporting network performance result.
• Analyze and review network performance statistical data from various interfaces and propose network monitoring strategies, technical case studies and recommended features.
• Prepare yearly drive test plan for radio network and implement the final approved plan.
• Review benchmarking reports for Syriatel radio network, prepared by Radio Network Quality Assurance team and send the final one to Technical Department.
• Ensure timely backup of drive test database by Radio Network Quality Assurance Technicians.
• Communicate with suppliers for the troubleshooting of radio network problems and Radio Network Quality Assurance tools.
• Review radio network study cases and recommended radio features prepared by Radio Network Quality Assurance team.
• Research for new technologies that would enhance / ensure network performance.
• Prepare site audit yearly plan and ensure audit effectiveness.
• Review audit results prepared by Radio Network Engineers and ensure follow up for detected problems with the concerned entity.
• Review Drive Test Tool Peripherals Verification Report prepared by Radio Network Quality Assurance Technicians
• Propose upgrade or new features for drive test & benchmarking tools and supervise their installation, upgrade and acceptance.
