• Assist operators concerning Hardware and Software related issues
• Train operators on the software by undergoing various training sessions
• Equip the meeting rooms with the needed technological devices according to request
• Perform network sharing for printers with computers
• Handle the fixed assets process concerning purchasing of transferring IT items
• Evaluate offers by developing selection criteria and perform purchases analysis, based on suplliers’ proposals
• Prepare customized programs according to needs such as: Microsoft Outlook and Access
• Perform disk cleanup and disk defragment whenever needed
• Install Software applications such as: Micrososft Office, SPSS, Photoshop, Adobe Reader, Autocad…etc
• Install and updates Antivirus on certain computers that are not connected to the local area network
• Connect and handle data cables
• Perform daily database backup and check temperature and humidity of the server room
• Replace parts for computers, printers, photocopiers and fax machines such as: Power supply, fan, hard disk drive, floppy drive, CD drive, ink toner…etc
• Provide internet connection to patients whenever asked for
• Follow up, according to the superior’s instructions, reported failures of software and hardware by contacting suppliers, according to maintenance contracts, whenever existing
• Install Softwares for diverse companies like Pizza Hut, Bassoul Heneine, McDonald’s…etc
• Train operators on the new installed softwares
• Support hardware or software related issues by phone
• Connect and handle data cables
• Perform disk cleanup and disk defragment whenever needed
