My Roles as a junior accountant specialist are:
-Bookkeeping: Responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, ensure that all financial transactions are properly documented and categorized in the general ledger.
-Transaction Verification: Verifying and reviewing invoices, receipts, and other supporting documents to ensure they match entries in the general ledger.
-Reconciliation: Assist in reconciling of accounts, which involves comparing financial data in different systems to ensure consistency and accuracy.
-Compliance: ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations, work with auditors to provide documentation and explanations for financial audits.
-Support for Senior Accountants: assist senior accountant in various tasks, such as preparing journal entries, conducting variance analysis, and participating in month-end and year-end closing process. In addition, assisting with them to review the monthly financial statements.
-Banks: Liaise with banks to ensure bank related documentation are complete and accurate such as KYC, CRS, FATCA forms, file update, and others.
Monthly, Quarterly and year end reconciliation of bank accounts.
-Auditors: Helping and supporting external auditor requests. Get the end of year confirmations (Bank, Foreign and Local suppliers, Lawyers…).
-Legal: Support and follow up with legal Departments Regarding resolutions and other legal documents.
Support senior accountant in the Declaration Quarterly and yearly taxes for Non-Residents proper filing and update of legal Folders.
