This is the study of how food products are produced.It enables the learner to be well conversant with modern and old methods of food preservation,the chemical aspects of carbohydrates,proteins,vitamins and ions.It also enables the learner to know how different food products are produced in different companies.It equips the learner with methods of identification and enumeration of food related microbials and how well to minimise their presence in food. It enables the learner to be well conversant with the modern technology being used in food production in different companies.
