My Name is Omar El Rifai, have a Master degree in Biochemistry and Molecular genetics from the American University of Beirut. I have worked for Five years in a Research Laboratory. My main job is to investigate new method and techniques to conduct research needs. I helped in writing proposal and prospect future research plan. In addition to my role in helping student in their research and solving their problem, i have been enrolled in the estimating the laboratory need and negotiate with the pharmaceutical company to make suitable deals.
During my work, I got experience in biostatistics program (SPSS) for data analysis and in business oracle use. Also, I am a professional user of Microsoft Office tools, Photoshop and different programs used in research like image J, image quant….
My research experience was fruitful; I did different paper in different research field, and too many poster presentations in different research meeting.
My aim is to invest my knowledge in developing new method and techniques that may be beneficial for research and humanities. Also, I am interested in sharing my knowledge and expertise to help other people in conducting their research.
I have a Ms degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Genetics from the American University of Beirut- expected graduation in December 2013. I got my BS in Biochemistry from the Lebanese University, i was on the honor list in the first year. I have a scholarship from the American University of Beirut.
