• Attending shutdowns regarding commissioning of new KAHRAMAA Outdoor and Indoor Electrical substation with newly installed Ring Main Unit(RMU), Transformers, & Feeder Pillar
• Permanent and temporary diversion work for 11KV cables with pilot & LV cables in trenches, ducts, including connecting to the existing feeders/cables or to electrical substation
• Removal of cancelled existing MV/LV cables after Commissioning the new cable.
• Responsible to resolve any unexpected difficulties and other problems at site that may arise at any time.
Other Responsibilities:
• Coordinate to the Project coordinator for weekly program of shutdown schedule from the main client (KAHRAMAA) along with the drawings and directly report to the Construction and Project Manager.
• Coordinate to the KAHRAMAA Engineer as the main client for the execution of the work
• Responsible to supervise and monitor the site labor force through General Foreman or supervise and monitoring the work of jointing & fitting team to complete the work such as termination of 11kv cables with pilot cable as per client’s satisfaction.
• Responsible to plan and schedule the work and efficiently organize the site / facilities in order to meet an agreed programmed of deadlines.
• Confirm all the live cables and temporary equipment’s like mobile substation, Transformer and RMU’s are safe, protected and away from the substation after the shutdown for the civil work according to the civil drawing in coordination with safety supervisor.
• Confirm working condition and carry all test equipment to perform all required test (Hi Pot test, Live Phasing test, Earth Resistance test, Phase Rotation test, Measurement of Voltage/Current/Megger test with the present of KAHRAMAA engineer for the Commissioning of the Substation.
• Prepare all required documents and submit to Project Coordinator.
• Attending inspections with KAHRAMAA Consultant such as Trench Inspection, site pre-final inspection & site final inspection

• Expert on inspecting and evaluating workplaces hazards and recommend safety measures & effective strategies.
• Efficient ability in coordinating and monitoring all Health, Safety and Environment activities to ensure agreed safety and loss prevention standard are fully implemented and properly followed
• Ensure compliance with job specific Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) responsibilities.
• Ensures that all equipment to be used in construction are inspected/color-coded and certified by authorized person, operators are trained and licensed as per legal requirements.

• Identifies problems and shortcomings with existing systems.
• Co-ordinate test and commissioning activities and provide advice on testing and commissioning procedures and documentation.
• Produce or assist in the production of all test and commissioning documentation.
• Undertakes testing and commissioning activities in line with the specified site requirements.
• Monitor progress, recording all test results, witnessing final testing and acceptance of equipment and compilation of all documentation for inclusion in the site test dossier.
• Ensures the safe testing and commissioning of completed installations to achieve the necessary plant performance in accordance with project program requirements.
Qualifications: • Valid Qatar Driving License • With Institution Occupational Safety & Health Certificate (IOSH MS) • With Basic Occupational Safety & Health Certificate (BOSH) • With Transferable Visa & NOC • MV / LV cable commissioning • Proficient &wide knowledge in Microsoft Office such as Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel • Trained in fieldworks and Clerical works & how to deal with different people. • Work in fast-paced environment and effective under extreme pressure • Able to adopt immediately the nature/environment of the job
