Oversees the production process and coordinates all activities to ensure enough resources on hand. Develop process analysis, re-engineering, and problem-solving methodology to improve efficiency, lower costs and improve product quality. Manage and lead process teams to achieve desired results. Assist in development of new process capabilities. Playing a key role during the Annual Strategic Planning period. Follow best practices among other JTI factories and applying feasible ones locally.
•Ensure that Environment, Health and Safety, Manufacturing and Quality standards and procedures are adhered to.
•Create and implement best practice manufacturing vision, strategy, policies, processes and procedures to aid and improve business performance.
•Develop and manage master production schedule and operations budgets for products to directly support and ensure that the product is delivered as per agreed, quality, cost and timelines.
•Plan and execute maintenance activity to ensure plant is kept safe and compliant.
•Provide leadership to departments under control and coach, mentor and develop direct reports, manage a high performing team that delivers continuous improvement, added value and cost reductions.
•Report of manufacturing activities on a regular basis to the Senior Management team, ensuring accurate and timely reporting of the relevant Key Performance Indicators.
•Proactively work with line management, engineering, service and other departments to incorporate best practices into the manufacturing environment.
• Establish effective administration and effective follow up on month-end closing activities and prepare monthly reports.
• Ensure daily production and machinery performance monitoring.
• Analysis of breakdowns root causes and process yield results to ensure effective follow up.

• Identify Environment Health & Safety (EHS) risks at shop floor, make risk assessment and develop actions in line with Global Safety Change Program with related departments by consideration of legal requirements.
• Manage EHS KPI's (Recordable injury, Lost time incident, Total Waste, Recycle Ratio, Energy Usage, Water and CO2) and achieve the local targets by implementing improvement programs.
• Support & Coordinate EHS activities ın shop floor by closely working with related departments and provide EHS inputs for the investments. Manage Contractor Safety.
• Evaluate environmental aspects of the processes and develop actions in line with local standards and local legislation limits. Implement legal operational controls.
• Develop & conduct safety and environmental training programs for factory employees/contractor/trainees including safety orientation trainings
• To ensure workplace health risks are identified, evaluated, controlled and managed, promote and maintain the health and wellbeing.
• Responsible for maintaining EHS Management Systems requirements and ERM Process.
• Investigate each incident, fire, near miss accident & ensure compliance to recommendations.
