Responsible for performing Substation Engineering services on various projects (from
13.8 up to 132 kV voltage levels).
Prepare electrical protection and control design deliverable, and/or physical layouts for
high voltage substations (HV).
Assignments may include:
Design substations utilizing client standards including bill of materials, yard layouts,
plans, sections and details, grounding, ground grid, control building arrangements,
interior and exterior raceways, auxiliary AC and DC power systems, and cable lists.
Prepare calculations and equipment specifications.
Prepare new and modify existing relay drawings including relay panel arrangements,
single lines, three lines, AC schematics, DC elementaries, equipment wiring, and relay
panel wiring.
Execute complex assignments requiring the use of advanced techniques, resulting in the development of new or improved processes, equipment and/or technological
methods.
Develop and evaluate plans for major projects.
Assess feasibility or soundness of proposed applications when data is insufficient or
testing is advisable.
Coordinate departmental or divisional project studies, reports or project design
assignments. Progressive design and project management responsibilities.
Provide leadership, guidance and instruction to less experienced staff members.
Regularly meet and correspond with clients or outside personnel.
Some marketing responsibilities.

•New Jeddah North East 380/110/13.8 KV BSP (JNE) & 380 KV Under Ground Cables
associated with JNE.
• AL-LITH 380/110 KV BSP.
Main Resposibilities:
• 380 kV GIS Substation, testing & commissioning of Transformer, Switchgear, Control Panel… etc.
• Monitor project implementation through regular site inspection.
Ensure that the work is carried out as per approved drawings, scope of work, Saudi
electricity company standard and technical specification.
• Coordinate with Saudi Electricity Company project management for all activities going
on site.
• Check, verify and get approval quantity of all works.
• Check, verify and endorsement of invoice certificates.
• Coordinate with client, sub-contractor and project management department to expedite
the project completion.
• Managing of manpower, tools, equipment… etc.
• Preparing weekly progress report and forwarding to SEC.
•Documentation and filing responsibilities.
Participate in Project Scheduling activities.
Design Review & Coordination between Client & Consultant.
Review & Submission of Technical design packages of substation major equipment.
Review & Finalization of BOQs, Arrangement of Quotations from suppliers &
manufacturers.
Supervision of the installation, testing & commissioning of all GIS Substation
equipment.
Supervision of Project Team.
Manpower Distribution to meet the targeted project schedule
Preparation/ Submission of Monthly & Weekly reports to Client & Company
Management
Supervision of Electrical Equipment Installations
Submission of Inspection Request to Client
Arrangement of 3rd party inspection services for the FAT of Equipment locally &
Internationally
Review & Submission FAT Report.
Coordination & supervision of subcontracted jobs of the projects (like: Fire Fighting &
Fire Alarm System, HVAC System)
