Manage all mechanical maintenance rollers
Responsible in supporting all activities of the Maintenance Department, Repair and Preventive Maintenance System of all rigs.
Responsible for my own safety, others and for various duties including but not limited to the operational integrity, maintenance (preventive maintenance), installation and removal of mechanical systems components, repair and documentation of the diesel engines, , pumps, winches, , and auxiliary equipment such as compressors, and water systems, piping, fittings, valves.
Ability to troubleshoot & carry out minimum Top Overhaul for Cat 3512b Engines with knowledge of Electronic Technician.
Diesel Engines (Caterpillar 3512 MEUI, 3516, 3406, D399, C15, C18 and 3412).
Assist in maintenance of all mechanical equipment and systems as directed and assist as requested in repair jobs throughout the rig, together with senior mechanic, senior electrician, and welder.
Assist in monitoring of engines operation conditions through periodic visual checks.
