•Ensures that laboratory test on feedstocks, process streams, products and materials are performed as specified by user departments.
•Contributes to achieving optimal technical performance of refinery and utility processes.
•Maintain appropriate resources in terms of personnel and their training methodology.
•Maintain techniques and equipment to ensure that refinery processes are effectively monitored and Quality objectives achieved.
•Liaises with operations and utilities managers and department managers to assess quality of output from refining operations and utilities departments; recommends remedial or alternative action as appropriate.
•Troubleshooting and calibration for laboratory equipment and apparatus to ensure high laboratory performance.
•Technical evaluation for the new laboratory equipments.
