Sabic Global IT/OT Security Leader functions involve ensuring security and risk/reward decisions are balanced and comply with external regulatory and legislative requirements, create an information privacy and security-conscious culture within SABIC and developing and implementing information security initiatives at Corporate level.
Sabic cybersecurity Leader will manage broad global engagement and collaboration both at Corporate level and with external stakeholders including direct engagement with law enforcement, state agencies and security organizations at national and International level. The leader is responsible for:
• Providing leadership to the SABIC information security needs including developing and managing the Information Security Program and related policies, standards, and guidelines; and to the Information Security risk management process, including developing and managing the Information Security risk assessment and reporting processes.
• Working proactively within IT . Function and business unit management with respect to strategic and tactical plans for Information Security; working with IT and business units regarding major systems and application changes to help ensure that Information Security standards and issues are addressed
• Providing leadership to the incident response process; providing periodic Information Security Program status reports to senior management as appropriate; promoting Information Security awareness throughout the organization
• Overseeing a process to monitor Information Security controls within the Information Technology ( IT), Operation Technology (OT) and the business units for exceptions to established policy standards, security violations, and significant system changes and Security risk mitigation initiatives; overseeing a process to monitor vendor management oversight required by regulator guidance related to third-party Security risk
