Project Name: Marina El-Alamein Towers (PMC-Employer Rep.):
Project Comprises of Seven high-rise buildings located on Egypt’s North Coast, at New Al-Alamein City, ranging from 42 to 48 stories each, including Residential, Administrative/Commercial and Hotel Towers.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manages a team of Project Controls Engineers/Specialists who are qualified to analyse, evaluate, and forecast project costs, as well as performance against an established schedule with critical milestones.
• Provides guidance, direction, and specialized assistance to project team for the resolution of difficult and complex project controls challenges.
• Interfaces with clients, attends regular meetings, and provides statistical reports.
• Assesses the impact(s) of design/construction changes and schedule slippages.
• Oversees the development and maintenance of an established system to show the hierarchy of plans and schedules; keeps project and company management fully informed.
• Coordinates staffing requirements, assigns and supervises project work activities, and trains personnel on PMC best practicing and efficient management to the project.
• Completes performance reviews and provides personnel development for the assigned employees/subordinates.
• Recommends and oversees the customization of project control systems to meet specific project requirements.
• Oversee preparation of statistical reports for management on a recurring basis.
• Attend weekly/monthly progress meetings with contractors, consultants, and provide insight on design and construction issues that may affect progress, providing suggested remedial actions to mitigate incurred delays if any.
• Oversee preparation and implementation of Project Controls procedures to cover Planning/Scheduling, Cost Management, Risk Management, Document Control, Progress Reporting.

Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee preparation and implementation of Project Controls procedures to cover Planning/Scheduling, Cost Management, Risk Management, Document Control, Progress Reporting and Web based Project Management Information Systems (PMIS).
• Oversee and manage preparation of master-schedules to include conceptualization, design development, procurement, construction, installation, opening and project close-out.
• Analyze, evaluate, and forecast status of a project against an established baseline schedule.
• On weekly and monthly basis or as needed, prepare graphs, diagrams, and other exhibits to illustrate cost status and forecast dates and ‘major concerns’ and corrective actions.
• Assess the impact of design and construction changes and schedule slippages and recommend cost and time recovery scenarios on delayed projects.
• Accumulate and access historical data, such as performance experience, for use in maintaining a realistic basis for future planning and forecasting.
• Manage a database of baseline and monthly updates submitted by the consultants and contractors.
• Attend weekly/monthly progress meetings with contractors and consultants and provide insight on design and construction issues that may impact progress.
• Visit job-sites to assess progress and report on observations from a project control standpoint.

Project Position: Engineer's Rep./PM to deliver Piling & Enabling works for both projects and starting-up Main Works in addition to building-up the Engineer's Site supervision team up until handing over both projects to assigned RE's to assume Engineer's Rep. role till successful delivery of both Projects to the Client.
Project: Hilton Panorama Residence & Suites - The Pearl Qatar
Project Position: PMC - Project Manager
The project is a mixed use tower complex development comprising of luxury service hotel apartments and townhouses operated by Hilton World Wide consisting of signature restaurants, cafes with modern amenities and all related services at Abraj Quartier plot AQ-07 at the Pearl Qatar.
The 42 floors tower and its 5 floor parking podium have a built-up area of approximately 103, 195 m2. The tower consists of 363 apartment suites located from the 6th to the 38th floor of various sizes ranging from studios to 2 bedrooms apartments. The plot also consists of 2 townhouses blocks with a total built up area of around 12, 594 m2. The townhouses have 51 apartments ranging from 1 bedroom to 3 bedrooms.
The first 5 floors of the tower consists of public areas and BOH areas such as gym and food & beverages to serve the residents and their guests. In addition to this there is a large swimming pool located on the 5th floor of the Podium block.
Projects:
- Refurbishment and Upgrading Works of Various Pumping Stations Including but not limited to:
Pumping station construction and refurbishment works, Development and upgrading works for Drainage/Sewer networks, Rising Main and Sewer Lines, Construction of new Discharge Chambers, Washout Chambers, Air valve chambers...etc., with average construction overall budget of QAR One Billion .
- MARPOL Compliant Waste Reception and Management Facility Project at RLIC - QP. New reception facility located on the southern breakwater in the Ras Laffan Industrial City (RLIC). Reception Facility entails treating waste generated from ships, such as engine sludge, oily bilge water and oily tank washing.
- Upgrading and Refurbishment Works of Package Treatment Plant Jamiliyah and North Camp (Sewage Treatment Plants), the project comprises the complete detailed design, engineering, procurement, construction, testing, commissioning and handing over to the Public Work Authority of two fully equipped/operational package STP, with an average construction budget of QR 85 Million.
Role and Responsibilities:
• Leading/mentoring a team of Planners, Cost Controllers, Documents controllers and Contract administration specialist.
• Developing high standard & systematic project controls systems.
• Overseeing the set-up of the document control system for each project in line with the standard document control procedures.
• Monitoring/controlling project's actual progress against the planned sectional completion milestones.
• In charge of Assessment, analyzing, negotiation, evaluation & recommendation of Contractors' Claims.
• Expert in planning, scheduling and updating.
• In charge of reviewing, discussing, commenting and/or approving contractor’s baselines’ program and monthly progress updates.
• Lead/conduct a program workshops with all involved parties in order to revise and overcome potential delays (if any).
• Develop a comprehensive remedial action plan and corrective measures to maintain the program on track as per project’s baselines.
• Reviewing/evaluating contractors’ claims for extension of time and providing a detailed delay analysis report along with recommendations for mitigating such delays in a contractual and professional manner.

• Monitoring, tracking and controlling Contractors' resources/Manpower’s distribution, demands & Productivity rates...etc.
