• Ensuring statutory compliance is managed and monitored effectively, taking a solution focussed approach, removing risk to the company where possible and identifying and implementing mitigation where complete removal is not possible.
• Collate, record, analyse and report on data in the business, including incidents, audits and corrective actions.
• Promoting compliance and building safety requirements and identify training needs throughout the business including Boards and Committees.
• Write, review and update bid documentation and information to assist the business in winning new business.
• Drafting, reviewing, negotiating, and litigating broad range of legal cases for multiple client types while effectively interpreting laws, rules, and regulations and analysing probable outcomes.
• Representing clients in court and demonstrating proficiency in all civil and contract trial proceedings.
• Writing and revising a wide variety of motions, affidavits, interrogatories, and contracts, negotiating with other parties and signing settlement agreements as appropriate.
• Prepare legal drafts by assembling and organizing information for legal forms and documents, including complaints, declarations, discovery requests, responses, and other pleadings
• Handle incoming and outgoing office correspondence.
• Researches law by studying laws, statutes, constitutions, regulations, court opinions, including precedents.
