Under general supervision, performs a variety of recruitment activities and support duties such as the HR database, employee files and records, clerical work. The HR Assistant will provide the support to the HR Officer-Recruitment in his/her day to day duties. The position will perform general support function and assist in other HR personnel as necessary.
Creates employees Personnel File Folder;
Maintain applicants’ database and updates the Personnel Status Sheet for Payroll;
Handles new employee orientation program;
Guides the new employees in filling out their joining records( HR Forms, and Security Badges);
Advertise vacancies appropriately by drafting and placing adverts using a wide range of media ( e.g. newspaper, job websites and social networks);
Types and prepares letters, ( Job Offer, Acceptance Letter, Termination letter, Employees Certificate, Salary Certificates, letter of Notice);
Coordinates with the concerned Department on new employees travel, housing and transportation arrangement;
Process all employee changes to include employee information, position and salary changes;
Process outgoing employees’ papers works, and proper notification to PR for visa cancellation;
Monitors status of Sponsorship for resigned/terminated employees;
Keeps department manager informed of area activities and any significant problems;
Performs related duties as required by immediate supervisor.
