Assisting the patient in ambulation, transferring to wheelchair and stretcher.
Moving the patient up in bed, raising the head and shoulders, moving to the side of the bed, and turning the patient to the other side.
Performing clean and sterile handwashing, gloving, masking, and gowning.
To prepare bedmaking on unoccupied and occupied bed, open and surgical bed.
Assisting the patient on personal hygiene such as brushing teeth, denture care, complete bed bath, partial bath, perineal care (male, female), shampooing, shaving, nails and feet.
Performing back massage.
Assisting in feeding the patient.
Measuring intake and output of the patient’s meal.
Assisting in taking patient’s specimen such as routine urine collection, clean-catch urine specimen, 24-hour urine collection, fresh-fractional urine specimen, stool specimen, and sputum specimen.
Performing Adult and Infant cardiopulmonary resuscitation.
Performing Heimlich Maneuver.
Observing and recording Vital Signs such as temperature, blood pressure, Respiratory rate, and pulse rate.
Measuring height and weight.
Applying hot compress, and cold compress using ice bags.
Performing cleansing enema and vaginal douche.
Assisting in inserting catheters.
Emptying the drainage bag.
Performing range of motion exercises.
Performing post-mortem care.
And using fire extinguisher in case of fire.
Assisting Physician's out-patients and keeping medical records files.
