• Attend meetings with Client representatives to discuss project requirements, interface with other project, roads, landscape and infrastructure in Energy City,
• Attend Technical Meetings, workshops and site inspections to resolve issues, Respond to RFI’s,
• Review materials, finishes and mock-ups and prepare presentation for the Client,
• Correspond as per Project communication matrix,
• Review and approv Materials, Shopdrawings and other Submittals, coordinate review with other disciplines, i.e. Civil, Structural and MEP, monitor quality and implementation,
• Assist technical information needed by Contract Department for Variation Orders. Follow up long lead and pending items from Contractor,
• Monitor progress, keep records of events as necessary for future reference,
• Ensure that Project has met the design requirements,
• Lead and Manage the building permit applications and liaison work for the DC1 and DC2 modification,
• Follow the process till issuance the completion certificate.
• Attended meetings with Client representatives to discuss project requirements, interfaced with other projects in QF Education City, i.e. QF Rail - People Mover System, Parks, Roads, etc.,
• Identified problems, investigated solutions in timely manner and discussed in Technical Meetings with Designer to resolve issues,
• Prepared finishes and FF&E workshops for presentation to the Client for his approval,
• Corresponded as per Project communication matrix,
• Reviewed the Materials, Shop drawings and other Construction Submittals submitted by main Contractor, ensured the achievement of the designed prospect and quality, and pursued neccesary coordination with other disciplines i.e. Civil, Structural and MEP until Approval of the satisfactory submittals.
• Provided technical information needed by Contract Department for Variation Orders.
• Followed up on long lead purchasing and pending items from Contractor, including delays of submittals, for Planer’s and P.M. information,
• Carried out the Site Inspections, monitoring the rate of progress and kept records of events as necessary for future reference,
• Coordinated with Project team of two similar projects in QF ECQ,
• Ensured that Project has met the design requirements,
• Followed up the above processes till Project completion and handover.
• Prepared, presented, assesed and advised on the proposed Concept designs to the Clients, setting out the objectives, requirements and budget of a project,
• Managed the preparation of Tenders and Designs for Construction coordinating with all relevant disciplines, i.e. Architectural, Landscape, Civil, Structural, MEP, etc.
• Enforced all buildings and planning regulations as per Municipality and Authorities Requirements,
• Led the building permit applications and followed up on the processes till issuance of the completion certificates liaising with necessary authorities to facilitate the approval process,
• Reviewed the Contractors submittals: Shop Drawings, Material Submittals, etc.,
• Performed the Site inspections, monitored the progress and ensured that the Projects were running on time and within budget,
• Resolved the issues that have arisen during construction,
• Ensured that the environmental impact of the project were minimal.
