Head of HSE Department is responsible for his personal safety and that of all personnel under his or her authority, including others who may be affected by the company’s activities. In particular they will: Understand and implement the company safety policy. o Appreciate the responsibilities of personnel under their authority and ensure that each employee knows his/her responsibility and are equipped to play their part. o Conduct Risk Assessments on activities within their department ensuring that the methods and systems of work are safe. Also that the necessary procedures, rules and regulations. Designed to achieve this are formulated, published and applied.
Provide written instructions of work methods outlining potential hazards and precautions, set a personal example at all times by using the correct personal protective clothing/equipment and following all safety requirements and procedures. o Ensure the Statutory Notices, the Safety Policy, Insurance Certificate and the names of Appointed First Aiders are displayed and maintained in prominent locations. o Ensure that all new employees in the company are provided with a copy of the policy statement, receive such induction training as may be laid down in procedures, are issued with personal protective equipment as required and their personal responsibilities as set out in this manual. o Reprimand any employee for failing to discharge their health and safety responsibilities. Set a personal example with regard to health and safety matters. o Ensure all employees and contractors are suitably trained/competent to carry out the prescribed task and that the necessary licenses/certificates of competence are in force and appropriate. o Ensure the Statutory Notices, the Safety Policy, Insurance Certificate and the names of Appointed First-Aiders are displayed and maintained in prominent locations. o Ensure that the impending start of any new employee is advised to the Company Secretary in good time. o Reprimand any employee for failing to discharge their health and safety responsibilities. o Set a personal example with regard to health and safety matters.

Participate in the development and implementation of wide safety programs such as defensive driving, lockout/tag out, confined space entry, fire protection, and other safety compliance programs.
Advise the management regarding safety protocols and procedures to ensure regulatory compliance as mandated by local rules ADM Code of Practice including Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), Conduct routine and follow-up safety and hazard inspections of construction site.
Respond to emergency situations involving hazardous materials, radiation, or fire and smoke incidents.
Prepare reports of findings and submit recommendations.
Analyze accident and incident reports for trends.
Make recommendations for correcting unsafe conditions and actions.
Lead and guide the work of lower level safety technicians and student employees.
Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

Safety Manager
Preparation of project HSE plan
Coordination and implementation of the Company & Client’s Safety Programme for the prevention of injury to personnel, damage to process on to environment.
Assist in the development or improvements of the working place, Plant and equipment.
Conducting safety training for all Construction personnel in Safe Working Practices.
Conduct fire drill and evacuation exercise in all facilities for the staff and work place.
Well- familiar with Permit to Work System and Procedures.
Conducting Tool Box /Weekly / Monthly safety Meeting to reduce Hazards by promoting Safety Awareness among all levels of personnel.
Conduct risk assessment and potential hazards identification and preventive measures.
Regular inspection of PPE’s scaffolding, plant and equipment, house keeping, hot works operation, confined space entry and work at heights.
Daily inspection of Tower Crane, Mobile Crane and Heavy Equipment Operation.
Familiar with Job Safety Analysis and Check list of safety equipment operation.

Monitoring incoming, outgoing calls supply information & record information…from caller....
To provide a coordinated response of company resources for the mitigation of wild land fires, rural/urban fires, structural fire, air craft fires and incidents of a magnitude that require the expertise of the fire fighting community resulting from a natural, man-made or
technological disaster.
Provide assistance for company and local fire fighting operations involving urban conflagration or wild land incidents, as required.
Coordinate with company in the provision of personnel, equipment, and/or technical expertise to ensure sustainable of fire fighting operations during emergencies/disasters.

Ensure appropriate communication links are established with local or field elements and other agencies, as required.
Coordinate with Resource Support in the identification and acquisition of additional fire fighting equipment and supplies to support local response operations.

Develop a contingency plan in the event that conditions change or don’t respond to the primary plan.
Coordinate with Health and Medical Services to provide for the health and safety of company emergency response personnel.

Ensure that an Incident Action Plan is developed for each operational period and that it is coordinated with the Operations Officer and Information and Planning.

towers, repeater sites, storage facilities, etc.).
Major Firefighting issues/activities.
Allocation of fire fighting resources.

Coordinating with Fire Chief and all operations on scene.
