• Promotes and participates in the patients education and rehabilitation
• Cooperates and shares responsibilities to other nurses in the unit, participates
in Inter and Intra-Departmental activities designed to improve the services of
the hospital
• Gives the explanations or printed information about the hospital routines
visiting hours, awakening and retiring, meals, how to use the call signal, etc.
• Checking and recording vital signs of the patients, gives direct care to the
patients and housekeeping
• Feeds acutely ill patients, observes and reports symptoms and conditions of the
patient
• Gives health teaching to patients and their families, attends in-service programs.
• Performs Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitations and other life saving measures,
• Renders post mortem care in case of death.
