Conduct Site Inspection, Daily Reporting, Training of Workers, Update & Developing Procedural HSE Manual, Coordinate with the subcontractors, etc.
• HSE induction for new employees (twice a week).
• Conduct once a week General Toolbox Meeting for Workers.
• Conduct daily inspection from time to time.
• Conduct investigation in case of an occurrence of an incident.
• Conduct special training to mitigate the recurrence in case an incident happens.
• Submission of monthly report to the Dept. of Labor as required by the law.
• In-charge for the “Daily Observation” report.
• In-charge for the “Weekly Performance” report for management review.
• Making & submission of Environmental report to Dept. of Energy & Natural Resources (DENR) as required by the law.
• Maintain Safety Files as per OHSAS 18001:2007.
• Managing HSE for the assigned project.
• Assigning of Tasks to all Safety Enforcers.
• Represent Safety during meetings with the client (owner).
• Conduct Daily Toolbox Meeting (TBM) for Workers.
• Conduct Site Inspection (walkthrough) from time to time.
• Implement Safety within the project site as per the Safety Plan (Methodology).
• Preparation of Safety Program and implement.
• Make a Job Hazard Analysis if necessary.
• Responsible for the Project Monthly Safety Report to HSE Manager.
• Maintenance of Workers Barracks-Accomodation.
• Prepare Safety Materials.
• Monitor the various training programs conducted by EPC.
• Participate with HSE Team during Walkthrough.
• Participate with HSE Team during Incident Investigation.
• Ensure that all work activities being implemented comply as per SABIC Safety Standards & Procedures.
• Report Unsafe Acts and/or Imminent Danger for immediate rectification.
• Assist Safety Engineer in Reviewing ‘Method Statements’ submitted by all Saudi Kayan Contractors (EPC).
• Distribution of Safety Related Documents to all Contractors (EPC). (i.e. Method Statements, Job Bulletin, Safety Alerts, Flashes, etc.)
• Concept/Design & Preparation of Safety Campaign Materials &IPMT Newsletter.
