•Supports and assists the Head Nurse in promoting a good working atmosphere and in
making the most effective and efficient use of staff supplies and services.
•Assumes responsibility for quality of care delivered to patients.
•Assesses patient’ needs and condition. •Collaborates with other health care team members in planning and providing safe and
comprehensive care.
•Performs procedures accurately, completely and safely according to hospital policy.

•Evaluates patients’s treatment and care and reports pertinent information appropriate

•Assists the doctor and carries out prescribed treatment including administration of
medication as per hospital policy.
•Documents care, observes physical and emotional symptoms and changes according to
hospital policy.
•Maintains safe and clean environment for the patient.
•Respects the dignity of patients and maintains confidentiality.
•Recognizes and follows infection control practices.
•Demonstrates knowledge of the hospital quality programme.
