Lusail Light Rail Transit Project (QDVC - Alstom Consortium)
Contract Amount: $2.72 billion

Scope of the project:
Track Works, Power Supply, Overhead Catenary System, Aesthetic Power Supply, Train Control System, Platform Screen Doors and Rolling Stock

• Assisted the project director by developing project management tools and reports for the dynamic needs of the project.
• Prepared variation orders for the Customer and managed claims submission to the Consortium partner.
• Generated map-based progress reports for track works, power supply, signaling, rolling stock and T&C.
• Conducted Earned Value Analysis by interfacing with planning and finance departments.
• Liaised with all project stakeholders to facilitate communication through effective and visual reporting tools.
• Assessed and evaluated project risks in collaboration with the risk owners and updated the risk register.
• Defined the risk mitigation actions and ensured the implementation through regular risk meetings.

Infrastructure (sewerage, potable, telecommunication, gas, electricity), Light railway and platform (15km), Maintenance Center (workshop, storage, administrative building), Sub station buildings, Passenger Stations, Asphalt and pavement, Street lighting systems, Mechanical and electrical works, Landscape works, Signalization.

Responsibilities:
• Directly assisting and supporting the project manager.
• Developing and tracking the planning of the project with MS Project.
• Generating S-Curve, earned value, efficiency and critical path analysis.
• Interfacing with the cost department to facilitate budget control and forecasting.
• Combining the field reports and preparing daily, weekly and monthly progress reports.
• Generating map-based progress reports for tramline.
• Creating goal tables for specific disciplines.
• Preparing claim, acceleration and extension of time reports.
• Following up the procurement planning.
• Using Time Location Diagrams as a planning tool for tramline.
• Generating 4D models for certain parts of the project.

During my experience in Sétif as a planning engineer, I’ve also participated the initiating stage of Casablanca Light Rail Transit Project (2nd line) for 1 month in Morocco to set up the time management plan and progress reporting system of the project.

• Managed bidding, planning and execution phases of 3D modeling projects for Google Earth.
• Created photo-realistic 3D building models of Renault’s automobile manufacturing facility in Bursa, Turkey.
