Project: - CAFIS, National Information Center (NIC), Riyadh, KSA
Key Result Areas:
•Install, configure and maintain Oracle software.
•Install, configure and maintain LINUX operating System.
•Creation of database and database maintenance.
•Monitor everyday systems and evaluate availability of all server resources and perform all activities for Linux servers and windows servers.
•Monitoring the alert log for the database performance and resolving the performance issues.
•Perform routine system maintenance and resolve server-side issues as they arise.
•Monitor system performance to prevent slowdowns and crashes/incidents.
•Perform and monitor regular Backups.
•Supporting and monitoring the existing infrastructure, supervising preventative maintenance and backup as well as performing other regular support activities to ensure effectiveness.
•Provide NIST extraction to the client upon request.
•Performed troubleshooting in case of incidents/server failure by using network tools like ping, netstat, traceroute and nslookup etc.
•Investigate on network or system outage on multiple sites and provide information to client with the solution.
• Create System Backups on weekly bases and report to the client.
•Generate operational reports such as Daily, Weekly, Monthly and Quarterly reports and submit to the manager and client.
•Generate and submit incident reports on incidents/server failure.
•Adding additional data file for resolving space issues.
•Manage, coordinate and implement software upgrades, patches on servers, workstations and network.
•Perform tests on all new software and maintain patches for management services and perform audit on all security processes.
•Developing and maintaining cooperative relationships with networking, storage, software development, and project management team.
