Key Responsibilities:
1. Strategic Planning:
- Develop and implement IT strategies aligned with the organization's objectives.
- Identify opportunities for the use of technology to improve business processes and efficiency.
- Plan and manage IT budgets, ensuring cost-effectiveness and alignment with business goals.
2. Infrastructure Management:
- Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, and storage systems.
- Ensure the availability, scalability, and security of IT systems to meet business needs.
- Stay updated on emerging technologies( Software) and assess their potential impact on the organization.
3. Team Leadership:
- Recruit, train, and manage a team of IT professionals, including system administrators, network engineers, and support staff.
- Provide mentorship, guidance, and performance evaluations to team members.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning within the IT department.
4. Security and Compliance:
- Implement and enforce IT security policies and procedures to protect against cybersecurity threats and data breaches.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards, such as GDPR, HIPAA, and PCI DSS.
- Conduct regular security audits and risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities and mitigate risks.
5. Technical Support:
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to employees experiencing IT issues.
- Establish and maintain service level agreements (SLAs) for IT support, ensuring timely resolution of incidents and requests.
- Implement self-service tools and knowledge bases to empower users to resolve common IT problems independently.
6. Vendor Management:
- Evaluate and select IT vendors, negotiating contracts and service agreements to obtain the best terms and value.
- Manage relationships with vendors and third-party service providers, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations and service level agreements.
- Monitor vendor performance and conduct periodic reviews to assess their effectiveness and alignment with organizational needs.
Requirements :
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
- Proven experience (5+ years) in IT management roles, with a track record of successful project delivery and team leadership.
- Strong technical expertise in IT infrastructure, networking, cybersecurity, and cloud computing.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Strategic thinker with a proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
- Certifications such as CISSP, ITIL, PMP, or CCNA are desirable but not required.
