Job Title: Governance, Performance Lead


Report to: Function Lead


Role Summary:


Governance and Performance Lead, plays a pivotal role in ensuring the effective governance and performance management of BI&A organization. He/she will be responsible for overseeing and implementing governance framework, metrics, procedures and develop performance management strategies, EVP framework for various functions within team Reporting directly to the overall BI&A lead, you will work closely with key stakeholders to improve operational efficiency and advance strategic objectives.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Governance Framework Development: Design, implement, and maintain governance frameworks, policies, and procedures.
  • Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate risks across the team by establishing effective risk management processes and controls.
  • Performance Management: Establish and execute Employee Value Proposition (EVP), performance management strategies, and initiatives to monitor and improve organizational performance.
  • Partnering with the Change Management Team: Collaborate with the Change Management team to facilitate employee communication regarding performance management.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Work closely with internal stakeholders such as senior management, department heads, and cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and the successful establishment of the BI&A team.
  • Data Analysis and Reporting: Utilize data analytics tools and techniques to analyze performance metrics, identify trends, and generate insightful reports to support decision-making processes.
  • Leadership and Team Management: Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performing work environment.

Skills Required:


  • Strategic Thinking: Ability to align governance and performance strategies with organizational goals.
  • Leadership: Strong leadership skills to guide teams and influence stakeholders.
  • Analytical Skills: Proficiency in analyzing data to derive actionable insights.
  • Communication: Effective communication to convey governance policies and performance goals.
  • Problem-Solving: Capability to identify and address governance challenges and performance issues.
  • Collaboration: Skill in working with cross-functional teams to achieve objectives.

Qualification:


Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, Finance, or a related field. Advanced degrees such as a Master's in Business Administration (MBA) or certifications in governance, risk, or compliance (e.g., Certified Governance Professional, Certified Risk Manager) may be preferred.


Experience: 10-15years in governance, risk management, compliance, or performance management roles. Experience in leadership positions, project management, and working with cross-functional teams is highly desirable.
