Job responsibilities:

The QA Automation Engineer at Experian India will work on Decisioning Analytics North America software and platforms with a focus on security remediation. Additional work areas will also include technical debt improvements and the implementation new features. Applications supported will include Precise ID, Precise Match, IEN, Document Capture among others. This role will participate as a member of a DA Technology Scrum team to fulfill these objectives. They will be expected to function with a fair degree of autonomy taking high level direction from Leadership and Product teams.

• Independently design, develop, and deliver an automation framework for products with a quality mindset Work closely with development teams to identify and resolve issues early in the development cycle.
• Define the overall test strategy and metrics, develop test plans, and coordinate execution to deliver a high-quality service to the organization.
• Prepares test scenarios, test cases, QA stories, and acceptance criteria, aligning them with the developing stories for the product increment being delivered in the sprint.
• Implement CI/CD processes for automated testing pipelines.
• Contribute to the creation of testing frameworks and environments.
• Document testing phases and defects, ensuring detailed tracking and reporting.
• Leverage AWS cloud services for scalable application deployment and management.
• Comfortable taking the lead and driving/coordinating major workstreams.
• Ensure code quality, security, and scalability through best practices and regular reviews.
• Escalate when appropriate when blocked or unable to resolve on their own.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Engineering or related field or equivalent experience
• 5+ Years in software testing experience, 3+ Years building test automation frameworks.
• Strong prompt engineering skills and effective usage of AI code assistance.
• Proven experience in QA automation and software testing.
• Experience with testing APIs and comfortable querying for data in database.
• Strong knowledge of automation testing tools (Selenium, TestNG, JUnit).
• Experience with Java, AWS, and microservices is highly beneficial.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to work collaboratively across teams.
• Strong knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, automation testing and test-driven development
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and strong communication skills.

You would be joining an agile delivery team which continues to refine their own processes and ways of working. You will find it easiest to understand the way we work if you have worked using agile delivery methods in the past.
