Major duties and Responsibilities:
Supervise the daily monitoring of clients transactions through AML System “Safewatch”, core banking system “FlexCube” and reporting system “OBI”.
Transfers, L/Cs and L/Gs monitoring against international blacklists (OFAC, UN, EU, BOE) through Swift Alliance (FircoSoft) system.
Reports SAR’s to FIU.
Conduct AML/CTF & FATCA training and awareness programs to all bank’s employees periodically.
Conduct ongoing due diligence on foreign and local banks.
Receive and answer AML/CTF questionnaires of correspondent banks.
Update AML/CTF policy of the bank in coordination with related parties.
Conduct Compliance tests regularly on all bank divisions in order to detect any compliance failures or breaches of laws.
Update compliance policy on an ongoing basis.
Ensure Compliance with CBJ’s regulations and other regulatory bodies.
Prepares Periodic compliance reports to audit and compliance committee And Board of Directors
FATCA responsible officer and point of contact.
Major duties and Responsibilities:
Ensure that non-compliance risks are identified and that appropriate preventive measures are implemented.
Implement corrective actions or have actions taken.
Educate operating business lines about non-compliance risks.
Coordinate the relationship with the supervisory authorities.
Conduct or arrange for investigations into reports of non-compliance made by whistleblowers.
Assist senior management of the business unit in their responsibility for complying with all relevant anti-money laundering regulations.
Centralize and co-ordinate information regarding sensitive, suspicious or dubious transactions
Reporting suspicious or dubious transactions to the appropriate competent authorities.
Raise awareness amongst staff and management to the risks of money laundering
Supervise Anti-Money Laundering surveillance software tools (i.e.LABO1, LABO2, SIRON)
Ensuring that information on money laundering risks and on new legislation/regulations is distributed throughout the business unit.
Identify the key persons within the business unit who should receive AML training.
Advise the Senior Manager on the appropriate level of internal monitoring to be carried out within the business unit.
