Duties and Responsibilities in Software Management Service Team:
• Implementing mass software deployment of mandatory and business applications to all regions for different types of clients (Desktops, Virtual machines, Streaming application to Citrix server) by following strong release process.
• Testing, planning, scheduling, raising RFC, implementation, verification, validation and remediation for all software deployed on Citibank desktops globally.
• Implement a strict change control process by establishing communication mechanisms and provide technical support to the customer.
• Responsible for all Communications with business stakeholders before, during and after the software release.
• Managing and monitoring Software requests queues globally and ensuring that software deployments are distributed evenly across the team members without any delay.
• Participating in many projects to enhance the current release process, improve the quality of the service we deliver to the customer and drive the team to be best in class.
• Develop and deliver global weekly reports to show that SLA is being achieved and to show software deployments which have been processed every week with all the required details (# of desktops touched globally, # of software deployed, Region).
• Ensure issues and risks are managed, documented, communicated, actioned and escalated appropriately through work management processes to enable managers and key stakeholders to make required decisions in a timely manner.
• Responsible that all software release is signed-off by relevant business to meet the Change Advisory Board governance requirements.
• Responsible for creating and modifying operational support documentation.
Achievement:
• Introduced a method to strength our process and increase service quality for our customers.
• Designed a new tool which has saved the time for the team members in processing their BAU tasks.
• Simplify the software request process for the customers.
• Perform a timely cleanup for the end of life software which saved the bank thousands of dollars to support these applications and reduced any vulnerability.
• I’ve promoted 2 times in this role, my current grade is “Manager”.
• Since 2015 my manager has assigned me as a deputy manager for a team of 12 persons from (Bahrain, Philippine, UK and USA)
• Received couple of awards from my manager and also from the management team in regards to: champion progress, Drive value for client and work as a partner.
Duties and Responsibilities in Technology Infrastructure / Regional Department:
• Verifying various processes like secure policies and Vulnerabilities of Middle ware for more than 57 countries and reporting that to senior management.
• Providing weekly reporting in the form of Dashboard to the middleware management.
• Automated number of reports using Excel macros.
• Responsible for ensuring Citi group is compliant to the Corporate Records Management Policy.
