Job Description:
- Building up Ashghal’s Assets Affair software - Maximo - by IBM Data base. Starting from assets register, assets classifications, job plans and work orders creation, maintenance strategy, maintenance batches and routes up to using the system on daily basis for executing preventive maintenance work orders, corrective maintenance work orders, failure reporting and asset register regular updates.
- Preparing the yearly spare parts plan.
- Preparing the overhauling plan and following up the execution to match the plan’s time table.
- Preparing and executing plant improvement plan, covering any improvement ideas in addition to replacing the obsolete equipment with relevant and recent replacements.
- Participating with tender department for reviewing and budgeting new plants tenders.
- Corrective/Preventive Maintenance for all the electrical power equipment in the project (MCCs, VSD, Soft-Starters, LVSG, Electrical Motors, Power Transformers, Power Factor Correction Units, UPS, DC Units, PLC, Filed Instruments. etc.
- Issuing reports and modifications, recommending suitable actions to minimize or eliminate recurrence of the problems.
- Responding immediately to equipment breakdowns including participation in the On-Call schedule, fixing faults and arranging for replacements to be installed if required.
- Liaising with client, suppliers, contractors and relevant authorities.
- Performing installation jobs and supervision of external sub-contractors involved in major jobs.
- Formulating preventive maintenance schedule with associated procedures and checklists periodically reviews the programs to evaluate its efficiency and suitably makes changes to the schedule and procedures, if necessary, based on feedback and field experience.
- Assisting Purchase Department in specification of items for purchase, spare parts detail and other day-to-day jobs, as and when required.

Job Description:
- Worked in the initial start-up, commissioning and provisional test of the second phase of the project, contributed in commissioning development and method of statements.
- Interfaced with a diverse range of specialists, engineering professionals, construction management teams, project site staff and other relevant parties to resolve the issues/problems occurred in the commissioning and provisional test period by delivering engineering solutions.
- Assisted in the identification of hand over system and punch listing to ensure systems are handed over to the O&M in a smooth, safe and efficient manner.
- Issuing reports and modifications, recommending suitable actions to minimize or eliminate recurrence of the problems.
- Testing/Calibrating all types of field instruments such as Valves/Actuators (Regulated, On-Off, Motorized), Sensors/Transmitters (Velocity, Pressure, Level, Air/Water Flow, Oxygen, Redox, Turbidity, chlorine, Temperature.), Automatic Samplers etc. to ensure that they are in a smooth operation.

- Monitors the 800, 000 m3/day plant operation through SCADA, process values, operator’s reports, trends etc. Ensures the plant continuous smooth running.
- Following up the equipment maintenance schedule.
- Applying the standard procedures, Managing and coordinating the operation team.
- Training operators to be recognized with all areas in the plant.
- Ensure the proper plant specific units starting and shut-down operations when required. Puts into service the stand-by equipment in the event of failure. Deals with defect according to their degree of urgency.
- Reporting all incidents occurring in the plant during the shift and fill the dailychecklist for each zone.
- Analyze Water and sludge samples from different sampling points.
- Interacting with sub-contractors who are working in the project.
- Ensuring that safety rules are applied for the employees, subcontractors and checking work permits when anyone is performing a job on site.
