Supervise team of Design Engineers and CAD Designers for HVAC/Plumbing/Firefighting/Irrigation/Medical Gas/Infrastructure Design such as External Water Supply/Booster Pump Station/Sanitary Drainage/Lift Stations.
Act as Work Group Leader for huge projects such as District Cooling Plant for Dhahran City, Ras Tanura and Abqaiq Area.

Conduct QA/QC for the submittal design package as per Saudi Aramco Engineering Standard (SAES) and other Industry Standards such as ASHRAE, SMACNA, NFPA, IFC, UPC, NSPC, IPC, IBC, ASPE and HTM.
Assign manpower and create two month look ahead plan. Receives inter-discipline checking.
Mentor to Junior Engineers and CAD Designers.

1. Conducts Design Technical Review for all the Mechanical Systems such as HVAC, Chilled Water Piping, Domestic Potable and Non-Potable Water Supply, Sanitary Drainage System, Storm Drainage System, Fire Protection System, Medical Gas System, Industrial Compressed Air System, Irrigation System, Fuel Oil Gas System and Special Mechanical Systems such as Swimming pools and Water Fountains.
2. Design Calculations of the above mentioned systems for most projects such as Military Medical Complex, Hospitals, Healthcare Housing Accommodations, Schools, Gymnasiums, Military Operation Centers, High Rise Building Apartments, High Rise Medical Towers, Military Patriot Projects and other Military Facilities.
3. Design Calculations review of the above mentioned subject./
4. Review Bill of Quantities that would conform to the design drawings as per design criteria established.
5. Review project specifications that would conform to established design criteria.
6. Ensure that the design package are in accordance to standard reference codes like ASHRAE, SMACNA, UPC, NPC, IPC, ASPE, ASME, NFPA, Standard Handbooks, SASO, ASTM, Saudi Building Codes and Civil Defense Codes.
6. Generate technical review report for the concerned design team for design rectifications.
7. Conducts Value Engineering study or workshop for multi-billion projects of the government.
8. Conducts site visit investigations for government facilities and submit technical report findings and recommendations.
1. Responsible for the approval of Mechanical Shop Drawings for HVAC System, Fire Protection System, Domestic Water Supply, Sanitary Drainage System, Storm Drainage System, Medical Gas System, Irrigation System and Fuel Oil Gas System in accordance to standard reference codes like ASHRAE, SMACNA, UPC, NPC, IPC, ASPE, ASME, NFPA, Standard Handbooks and Local Codes.
2. Coordinate with the consultant for shop drawing issues for rectifications.
3. Ensure site installations shall be as per engineering standard practice with respect to codes and approved shop drawings.
4. Solving site conflicts with regards to all building services like clushing of services.
5. Coordinate plant room layout of equipment such as Chiller's, Primary Pumps, Secondary Pumps, AHU's, FCU's, all types of fans.
5. Design calculations of cooling load, chilled water pipe sizing, pressure drop calculations, equipment selection.
6. Design calculations and pipe sizing of Fire Protection System, Domestic Potable and Non-Potable Water Supply, Medical Gas, Irrigation System.
7. Maintain records of drawing approvals.
• Prepares design drawings for mechanical systems as directed by project engineer.
• Take off bill of quantities of design drawings generated for material ordering purposes.
• Conducts bill of materials readiness to avoid discrepancy between design drawings and bill of quantities.
• Design rectification as per project engineers comments.
• Maintain history and able to follow track of changes and agreement being considered in previous technical meetings of the projects.
• Perform other duties as directed by Resident Engineers.
• Supervise the work activity in accordance to the proper method statement.
• Ensure all work activity shall be complied on time and within budget.
• Custodian and monitor all necessary materials needed.
• Assist the necessary needs of the engineer.
• Ensure safety of the workers and to ensure proper way handling hot works.
• Maintain records of the equipment and instruments.
• Observing and monitoring safety practices and the progress of work.
• Comply all deliverables as tasked by the Engineer.
