Resident Engineer For MBRHE Housings projects
1-Ensure the project is completed on time and within budget,
2-Ensure that the project's objectives are met and that everyone else is doing their job properly.
3-Oversee the project to ensure the desired result is achieved, the most efficient resources are used and the different interests involved are satisfied.
4-Participate actively in establishing program constraints, administrative requirements and various contract interfaces. Ensures that all is properly set.

Allocates the various supervision tasks to the team members and coordinates between them.
2-Leads the site staff to ensure their adequate performance and maintains the daily liaison and coordination with the Contractor and Client’s staff.
3-Reviews Contractor’s correspondence and issues replies within the contract stipulations and delegated authorities.
4-Checks Contractor’s submittals for completion and either issue his response as delegated to him, or prepare his proposed response to the submittal and forwards to the Project Manager for finalization.
5-Ensures that the works are carried out in accordance with the Contract Documents requirements, and to the quality required.
6-Checks and confirms monthly payment certificates values.
7-Chairs periodical progress and technical meetings to discuss arising matters.
8-Checks Contractor’s correspondence on contractual issues (variation orders evaluation, extension of time, claims etc.) and prepares pertinent replies after receiving feedback from his assistants.
9-Issues monthly progress reports to the Client.
10-Notifies the Client, at the substantial completion stage, of the remaining outstanding works and the approximate date of completion, so that the appropriate taking - over certificate may be issued on time.
11-Follows up Contractor’s compliance with the undertaking to complete outstanding works during the defects liability period.
