Safety & Quality Engineer who will facilitate the improvement of safety performance in the business unit by following and monitoring the implementation of unit safety policy, processes, procedures and guidelines.
• Provides expertise and support to the business unit on matters affecting safety.
• Performs safety inspections/ audits to verify compliance and identify deviations and uncontrolled risks affecting safety.
• Operates the accident & near miss incident investigation process, completes or verifies accident and investigation reports in co-operation with line management and technical specialists.
• Supports line management and technical specialists in defining and implementing corrective and preventive actions from audits and investigation findings.
• Monitors the effectiveness of corrective and preventive actions.
• Monitors safety auditing process and regular workplace visits under the direction off the unit Safety Manager.
• Assists line management in workplace safety audits
• Develops and maintains his/her own competences as safety engineer in co-operation with Safety manager.
• Uses the employee survey results as a source of information for improvement of safety.
-Prepare and update project schedule based on the contract.
-Set work program and target milestones for each phase based on the project plan.
-Monitor critical activities based on the project schedule and advise project management.
-Prepares and submit updated work program and cash flow curve showing actual progress and identify areas of weakness and establishes means and methods for recovery, if any, as well as new critical activities.
-Monitor day to day work progress and prepare the weekly and monthly program and report.
-Maintain and record update of site work progress obtained from Project Manager.
-Prepares monthly report reflecting work progress summary.
-Report to the Project Manager about the current work progress and make comparison between plan and actual progress and study impact of alternative approaches to work.
-Participate in project meetings and discussions with the Client as required.
-Assists in preparing work program, cash and manpower.
-Performs other duties and responsibilities as may be assigned from time to time
(Military Engineers Administration- Military Works Administration)
1. Managed a team of two semi-officers and minimum forty soldiers.
2. Responsible for Planning & Maintenance Management.
3. Acceptance test for repaired Mechanical equipment’s.
4. Prepare daily and monthly Inspection reports of critical problems.
5. Evaluated work performance.
6. Follow up safety issues and take proper action.
