Working from May 2011 up till now as a Protection, Testing, commissioning and Trouble Shooting Engineer in the following fields:
Testing & programming various types of protection relays.
Faults analysis & preparing incident Reports.
Adequate knowledge in reading the schematic drawings of different protection schemes for 220/66/11kV systems and preparing schematic drawings by using computer program.
Responsible for New extensions & installations at live Substations.
LV, MV, HV convention and GIS switchgear “C.T, V.T, isolators and C.B”
1. High voltage test, Contact resistance, function check, interlocks, Timing for C.B
2. Complete testing for all types of C.Ts and V.Ts.
Scheme checks (Synchronizing, breaker fail, Bus bar protection, communication scheme for distance relays, Interlocks).
Substation main and back up protection different manufacturers “i.e. Siemens, ABB, Areva, GE, Schneider and SEL ”
Primary injection, overall stability for“ bus bar, REF, step up/ down transformer”
Testing Mimic, Annunciation, metering, load shedding, AVR Panels.
Live H.V Substations:
1. Renew old protection relays with digital protection relay and made all modification to matching with the existing scheme.
2. Making routine program on this substation and complete testing protection relay
3. Faults analysis & preparing incident Reports
Work on most Tester equipment like “Omicron CMC 356, Freja, SVERKER 780, CPC-100, ODEN primary injection current”
Excellent knowledge in protection software applications (DIGSI 4.9, MICOM AGIL, GE Software, PCM 2.6, Cap501, Cap540, SFT2841).
Protection Relays (electromechanical, static, numerical).
Received complete substation from pre commissioning to startup.
Responsible for Electrical Management System (EMS)
and Electrical Isolation Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO) Also Preparing Permits Work And Finished The
Following Courses:
* Permit to work (PTW), Oil and Gas skills OGS
* Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO), Oil and Gas skills OGS
* Risk During Commissioning, Oil and Gas skills OGS
* Introduction To Safety, Oil and Gas skills OGS
* H2S Gas Level 1, Oil and Gas skills OGS
* Advanced H2S Gas Level 2, MAERSK H2S SAFETY SERVICES (license).
3. British Petroleum (BP) - West nile delta (Wnd) Gas Development Project
as Testing and
programming of various types of Protection Relays:
(SEPAM 1000, SEPAM 2000, SEPAM S40, SEPAM S80) Schneider Electric.
5. METITO FOR WATER TREATMENT PLANT CONSTRUCTION
Worked from January 2010 till May 2011 in Cairo in the following fields:
* worked as electrical site engineer, our task in this site is to design and construct all electrical
connections of motor control center (MCC), motor control panel (MCC), cable tray, local control
panels, local control station and outdoor lightening distribution, .
