My Role and responsibilities have been as follows
• Cable laying and cable traying
• Termination of power, control and instrument cables at MV(Medium Voltage Penals),
MCC (Motor control Penals ), CCR(Central Control ) respectively
• Calibration of instruments and control valve
• Supervision of Earthing and Lighting Team.
• Well understanding with termination, earthing and lighting drawing.
• Glanding of all types of cables.
• Inspection of all motors and cables.
• Continuity test or loop test for cable proper destination.
• Megger or IR(Insulation Test) of all motors, power cables, LV bus bar, CB(Circuit Braker).
• HI Pot test of Power cables, LV bus bar, Circuit Braker.
• Commissioning of motors, operate motors from DCS, VFD Panels and Local box.
• Turn Ratio Test of CTs and PTs.
Energy Solutions Private Limited Planning and Service Engineer from December 2011 to Present:
My roles & responsibilities have been as follows:
• Prepared Complete Planning Package that Includes Primavera P6 Schedule loaded with resources, Direct and Indirect Manpower deployment Plans, Monitoring and Control sheets, Schedule Narratives, Planning and Scheduling procedures, Risk Register, Delay Log.
• Project monitoring and control
• Project Procurement
• Generating look-ahead plans for construction team
• Generating project progress reports for submission to client
• Communicating constraints and concerns to Head Office for their support, Communicating technical as well as quality related issues to subcontractors
• Developing contingency manpower and resource deployment plans for meeting deadlines
• Commissioning of Generators of 500kVA and 100 kVA on the Head Office Coca Cola Beverage Private Limited and 500 kVA on the Mobilink.
• Supervision of troubleshooting team and overhauling.
• Familiar with the operation of AKSA Generators, Caterpillar Generators upto 2000 kVA.
Installation:
• Installation of Generators up to 2000 kVA of AKSA Generators
• Worked on the Earthing of Generators up to 2000 kVA
• Installation of Modules series 70X, 6020, 53XX, 52XX, 45XX of DEEP SEA Electronics
• have performed the generator and WAPDA supply change over through ATS Switch
Testing:
• Also familiar with the Contact Resistance Test of Circuit Breaker up to 800 A.
• Good knowledge of Relay testing up to 24 V DC.
• I have good experience of Transformer testing.
Maintenance:
• Maintenance, servicing and repairing of Generators.
• Have a good idea of PM (Primitive Maintenance) and CM (Corrective Maintenance)
• I have worked on execution of Khadim Steel Faisalabad 132 KV Grid Station Project•
Also did Procurement for the above mentioned project.
