Conduct periodic review of operational practices to ensure their compliance
against HSE.
Being Area authority identify hazards before any maintenance activity.
Risk asseement and mitigation.
Works with PTW system ensure its compliance.
Ensure smooth & safe plant Operation.
Operations Responsibilities
Maintain Product specifications by plant adjustment, maximize production.
Troubleshoot and optimize refinery process units.
Switch over and bypass in continuous service heat exchangers, Pumps, Fin fan
coolers, Furnaces and Units as per requirement for maintenance or routine Switch
over schedule.
Make commissioning and isolation procedures of equipment.
Part of the pre-start-up safety analysis team.
Safe start-up and shut down of equipments and units.
Manage all maintenance activities, deal with maintenance section & provide
workable conditions, i-e isolated, hydro-carbon free, ventilated etc.
Raise Plant changes which ease Operation & increase productivity.
P&IDs Review.
Provide process engineering support to unit operations.
Supervise the activities of contract engineering and construction personnel.
Control operation of all units, Monitor operational parameters, Check Log sheets
and act on emergency.
Training of sub-ordinates Apprentices’ and trainee engineers to make them best in
Operations.
Working as Senior Officer Operations in Byco Petroleum Pakistan.
