• Business Case Assessment, Product/Solution Assessment/Evaluation, Vendor Assessment/Evaluation, POC (Proof of Concept) Supervision, Project Team Selection.

• Coordinating with installation teams for maintaining network expansion and service quality as per STC/CITC Standards.
• Implementation/Integration and O&M of Huawei CS/PS/IMS/RAN/IP-MPLS equipment including MGW, MSC, BSC, RNC, NE40, UGW, DC-GW, SBC, USN, UDN, CGP, Optix OSN(DWDM), IPSec, DNS Server, Silo vMME, SmartCare CEM, IP Clock Servers in STC Core sites and Datacenters.
• Using OSS tools M2000/U2000/NCE/Netcool to Monitor and analyze all visible alarms (Hardware, Software & Environmental) for nodes under my supervision.
• Coordinate with surveillance NOC/TAC (FO/BO) to solve technical issues 24/7 related to hardware and software.
• Troubleshoot all the TTs/Network issues making sure issues are resolved in a timely manner through proper change management system to avoid SLA penalties.
• Performing JV with other vendors including Cisco/Juniper and Transmission teams to resolve network issues.
• Performing quarterly, annual health checks on equipment and take backup of database/configurations.
• Implement TCN/MDT to apply changes to network using STC CMS system.
• PMR/CMR of Huawei Core Network equipment based on weekly, biweekly, monthly, quarterly, annual ETLs.
• Keeping a record of all PMR/CMR activities and make sure that all the PMR targets are achieved
• ISUP/interface testing. Coordination with NPO for Performance and KPI measurements and variance analysis.
• Carrying out formal acceptance procedures (PAT) for the expansion and new installations.
• Managing new and ongoing project/operational activities for Radio Network in North Region.
• Supervision and Monitoring of rollout of Huawei BSC 6800, 6880, 6900, BTS 3012AE and NodeB.
• Configuration of MW links on RTN 600 i.e., 610, 620(1+0, 1+HSB, 1+SD) using Web LMT.
• Alarm patching and testing, Expansion & swap activities, Conducting Pre-PAT & PAT for BTS & BSC, Media clearance and Coordination with Vendors as per my PM Instructions.
• Prepare designs, drawings, plans and specifications for projects, engineering systems and technical equipment.
• Assist in the coordination of pricing, estimating, scoping strategies for proposed projects and in the development and preparation of technical specifications.
• Installation/Integration and configuration of POS solutions, ERP Solutions, RF-ID solutions, CCTV Solutions, Inventory and asset management solutions, IBS solutions, LAN/WAN, Access control solutions.
• Prepare quotations utilizing supplier information, cost standards and technical information.
• Prepare Sales Proposals and Co-ordinate with top management for financial bids.
• Monitor Sales activity to achieve targeted result, technical specification reviews and resolution.
• Direct and supervise all project activities. Assist clients and communication pertaining to specific projects.
