I have been assigned as full IFRS Implementation manager from starting from preparation of the planning up to Implementation and after implementation of the project as per the relevant financial reporting framework. For instance; I have been assigned at:
Prepare action plan which is BGI implementation schedule which align Accounting Boards of Ethiopian (AABE) implementation road map.
Asses and perform gap analysis
Prepare IFRS based accounting policy for the organization
Perform the retrospective restatement of financial statements
Performa IFRS conversion process
Give IFRS training to staff and management (when required)
Give advice and support the IFRS Implementation Project team on IFRS related issues.
Cooperate with external auditors to get feedback and advice or opinion on over all IFRS maters
Perform other advisories when needed.
I would have been reviewing audit working papers before issuing the audit report. In addition, i have been engaged on giving consultation & training to non audit clients based on the type of work agreed.
I had been working as an in charge auditor during the audit work that i had been assigned to different client offices.
I had been working as an in charge auditor during my assignment of audit work to various clients.
During my stay, I had been working from coding and posting of transactions to financial report preparation before issuance of the report. Also, most of the accountant job responsibilities were lies on me including tax declaration. In addition, i had been a representative to external auditors any communication.
Currently, I am a chartered Certified Accountant.
Currently, I am continued my professional development by taking 10 professional courses out of 14 from ACCA .
