Manage and work with more than 40 mechanics and 15 project sites at a time directly below the elevator and escalator installation head in the installation of new Otis elevators and escalators.
With responsibilities of developing yearly action plan for Otis elevator and escalator installation section, preparing installation plan of each and every elevator, and following up of the execution of the installation according to plan with providing the needed necessary technical support (Such as setting up and programming the elevator ) for the project supervisor.
I worked in first grade contractor (Defense Construction and Engineering Enterprise; DCEE) for 6 months contract, in electromechanical design (HVAC), installation and installation execution follow up; which gave me a good experience in building project management. Which include Controlling its material breakdown, labor breakdown, preparing weekly project budget and checking weekly project report and payment. Also doing the analysis of cost for new contract document. Checking and revising electrical design plan and electromechanical quantity surveying for preparing Bill Of Quantity (BOQ).
I have worked in overall installation of National cement factory with Chao Yang Industrial Installation Company. Which gives me a vast experience in electrical systems, from indoor substation to power transition, from relay controllers to plc controllers.Electromechanical parts such as compressors, electromagnetic precipitator, conveyors, crushers, mills, bag air filters, submerged pumps, generators motors etc. And was assigned as Kiln area electrical preventive maintenance and troubleshooting maintenance Engineer during the cement production operation.
I have Bsc. Degree in Electrical Engineering from Arba Minch University.Which focuses on the general electrical engineering discipline including power, electronics , electrical communication,electrical control,computer hardware,microprocessor,interfacing mechanical and electrical control systems, computer software,engineering project management etc.
