Executes switching programs and switching sequence during outages, normalization and commissioning of Switchgears, Transformers and Transmission lines.
•Operates different brands of 400kV and 132kV Gas Insulated Switchgear (GIS) Substation through local control panel and human machine interface/work station such as Siemens, ABB, Areva, Reyrolles, Japan AEPS, Toshiba, Hitachi, Alen Holec, Energoinvest, Merlin Gerin, Mitsubishi, Alstom and AEG.
•Issues and clears work permit from the working parties for any activities of substation equipment. Ensure equipment de-energize/energize and provide/remove isolation tags for equipments before/after maintenance work.
•Troubleshoot and reset any alarms present at the control panel, relay panel, low voltage distribution panel, battery charger and fire protection system panel.
•Operates 400V Switchgear of Earthing Transformers during outages and normalization. Rack-in and rack-out Air Circuit Breaker of 400V Switchgear such as ABB, GE and Seimens. Ensure that proper switching operation and safety precaution should be done.
•Visual inspection of GIS bellows and Busbar GIS arrangement. Record observation and remarks in the checklist.
•Monthly kWhr reading in 400V switchgear of assigned zone substations and record in the log sheet.
Supervise, execute, and monitor Cable Pulling (6.6kV-11kV MV and 440-600V LV) from Substation to Site Plant Phase 2 area with cable total runs of 737 cables. Inspect cable installation and separation if followed as per approved details from Layer one to Layer four. Verify as per approved drawing the cable identification and sequences of installation are met. Study and discuss with foreman the sequence of pulling and arranging the cable to avoid re-pulling and back job work.
•Supervise, execute, and monitor installation of Phase 2 area external Explosion proof Lighting Fixtures (Cooper Crouse-Hinds), including street lighting, junction boxes, cable trays, angle bar supports and brackets, cable pulling and cable glanding and termination.
•Supervise, execute, and monitor installation of Phase 2 area Earthing System including Field Auxilliary Room (FAR) and Substation (2SS100) Earthing System.
•Supervise, execute, and monitor installation and termination of Phase 2 area 6.6kV and 690V Motor Power cable System.
• Certified by Senior Electrical Authority (SEA) of Shell as an Authorized Electrical Person (AEP) for LV temporary power supply in C4 area. AEP will be responsible for the installation, isolation/de-isolation, testing, repair, maintenance and operation for 690/400V temporary power in the construction phase.
•Prepare Field Design Modification (FDM) and Technical Deviation Notice (TDN) as per site condition regarding design changes, interference with pipes, mechanical, structural and instrument, splicing point for damage cables and re-routing of cables using the i-DMS and AutoCAD software. Use NavisWork Jet stream V5 for 3D visual navigation of plant structure for any interference with piping and beams.
•Handled 6 foremen in construction process.
•Provide DRS (Dispatch Request Slip) and monitor material issuance of subcontractor using MARIAN software from Chiyoda.
• Inspection of Electrical material and work before and after installation. Certify that the installation was followed as per client standard and documents are complete before applying request for QA/QC inspection.
•Monitor and report daily work progress and material consumption to my superintendent/manager using WinPCS and MARIAN software.
•Pre-commissioning of external Lighting Fixtures and MV/LV motor cables such as continuity and line checking, high-pot and insulation testing. Prepare all necessary Inspection Test Plan (ITP) and check sheets documents prior to commissioning using WinPCS software.
•Energizing of external lighting fixtures and motor solo run after completion of check sheets and System Completion Manual (SCM). Troubleshooting incase of fault.
•Implement safety awareness to my foremen and electricians before start of work and conduct proper housekeeping after finish work. Ensure that safety rules are followed and PPE’s (Personnel Protective Equipment) are in use.
Supervise, execute, and monitor installation of Electrical works such as Lighting (Majanlite and Cooper Crousehinds), Power (Legrand and Cooper Crousehinds), HVAC (Heating Ventilation, Air Condition) LS (Lucky Star) Panel and Siemens 50HP motors, Fire Alarm/Air Sampling/FM200 (Simplex/VESDA/Kidde Gemini), PAGA (Industronics), LAN/Telephone (Nortel/Transtel), Chloride 30kVA UPS (Uninterruptible Power Supply), LS
Conduct preventive and annual maintenance of all electrical equipment at the plant such sets of 12.5MVA Main Power (33kV/4.16kV) and 1500kVA (4.16kV/415V) Transformers, Cuttler Hammer-Vacuum Circuit Breaker and Merlin Gerin SF6 of MV switchgears, Siemens Motor Control Centre, Liquid Starter, 10kW to 1800kW (4.16kV) motors (Induction, Compound and DC), ABB/Dunfoss Variable Frequency Drive (VFD).
•Daily inspection routine for electrical equipments and implement improvements.
•Troubleshooting of control panels, switchgears and motor starters.
•Supervision in maintenance work of electrical equipments, overhauling and high-pot test of motors with electricians and contractors.
•Switching operations of plant substation and start-up/synchronized of 8kW (4.16kV) Merrless Emergency Diesel Generator in case of outages.
•Responsible in issuing material dispatch to electrician or contractor and prepare material requisition for electrical supplies through SAP software.
•Issuing of work permit before start of work. Ensure that all electrical equipment and motors followed the LOTO (Lock Out Tag Out) procedure before commencing the work. Isolate and de-Isolate 4.16kV motors and 415V motors.
Prepare electrical estimation for tender design projects based on material take-off, quotations and manpower.
•Prepare electrical design as per client requirements or specifications such as lighting/power system, communication system, cables and raceways sizing, circuit breaker sizing and short circuit calculations. Provide bill of quantities (BOQ) and estimated price.
•Prepare electrical shop drawing, load schedule calculations and installation details.
•Prepare purchase order for material needed on site awarded projects.
•Prepare monthly billing, BOQ variations and change orders for the awarded project.
•Supervised electricians in executing electrical works such as installation, testing and commissioning of lighting/power system, low current system, fire protection system, earthing/lightning system and Building Management System (BMS) for villas, industrial and commercial buildings.
